Project Blue Counter explores an imagined space entirely reconstructed through memory and imagination. Every element within this space, from the architecture to the objects it contains, is redesigned through the act of imagining and remembering. The project investigates how forms are reduced to their essential qualities and how the identity of things can be reconstructed through perception. Through fictional characters who encounter this space, each iteration develops its own method of translating imagination into visual form. The process itself, from models and sketches to experiments and final paintings, is considered an equal part of the work, revealing the different ways an imagined world can come into existence.
